providing copy / text

All text must be provided digitally – if a hard copy must be transcribed, you will incur an additional charge at our standard hourly rate (listed on your contract). We can work with most word processing software – if you have any questions, email us a sample, and we’ll let you know whether we can use it.

All text must also be publish-ready. While we will certainly make edits should we notice a misspelling or a grammatical error, extensive copy-editing will incur an additional charge at our standard hourly rate.

providing images & photos

All images and photos must be provided digitally. If you prefer to provide hard copies to be scanned, you will incur an additional charge at our standard hourly rate. Included in your cost are simple adjustments, such as changing the resolution, re-sizing, and standard cropping. Should your photos require more complex manipulation, such as, but not limited to, individual color adjustments, retouching, or special effects, you will incur an additional charge at our standard hourly rate.

Digital images and photos can be provided on a CD, a DVD, a floppy disc, or via e-mail.

Should you know in advance that you will require transcription of text, copyediting, scanning, photo manipulation, etc., please discuss this with us during your initial consultation. We’ll be glad to create a design agreement that includes these services!
